Melanie Ching has attended Manoa Valley Church since 1994 when she and her family move to Manoa. She has been a Sunday
School Teacher, taught an Adult Class, hosted a Koinonia bible Study, sung in the Choir and on the Praise Team, served on the Board
of Deacons, and helped with the Grief Support Ministry. She was the Chair of the Interim Pastor Search Committee and a member
of the Senior Pastor Search Committee. Melanie is the Chairperson for the Silent Auction at MVC's yearly Harvest Fair in November.
She also continues to serve on a Childcare Team, giving Children's Moments, being part of the e-mail Prayer Ministry, dancing
Gospel Hula, reading Scripture, serving Communion, being Worship Leader, or Preaching from time to time. She has a Master's
Degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena.
